A Yellow Ribbon Community unites all areas within a community to create a comprehensive network that connects and coordinates agencies, organizations, resources, and employers for the purpose of proactively supporting Service Members and military families.
Our Mission
Mississippi River Valley Beyond the Yellow Ribbon is a 501(c)3 volunteer run organization that unites the community to creat a network of support for service members, veterans, and military families. This network will allow us to support military families through simple acts of kindness that leverage the skills and talents of community members.
Areas We Serve
We serve the Mississippi River Valley region, including the following areas:
- Cottage Grove
- St. Paul Park
- New Port
- Gray Cloud
How We Operate
We operate off of donations and volunteer support. Our organization is run by a dedicated team of volunteers who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of military families. Every donation, either financially or through volunteer work, directly supports our mission to serve military families.
Your contribution—whether from individual donors or local business partners—is 100% utilized toward providing services to veterans and their loved ones: home repairs, transportation needs, community events, technology assistance, wellness initiatives, more!
